Future mobility day

Skyfarer were privileged to be invited to the Future Mobility Event at the UK House in Birmingham this month as part of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

We were joined by fellow entrepreneurs and future start-ups to discuss where we see future mobility and how the support of the unified Birmingham city can support us in our efforts.

We also discussed the importance of the next generation of innovators and what vital support we can give them to enable growth and endless opportunities.

UHCW staff perception workshops

Skyfarer and the Innovation Team at UHCW conducted workshops spanning 2 days this month. The purpose of these workshops was to talk to staff and peers on the adaption of #medicaldeliverydrones in preparation of our #trial this year.

Thank you to everyone who has come along to say hello, showed support, shared ideas and gotten involved in conversations.

Rugby St.Cross NHS Trust is our next stop for anyone that would like to join us.

BVLOS Approval

After 2 years of working with the Civil Aviation Authority, Skyfarer has been granted Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) approval to prove competency and compliance enabling the safe operations of future deliveries.

It has been a fantastic month securing impressive amounts of BVLOS flying hours and preparing for the next trials to come.
